The Winning Equation

2 Chronicles 16:7-9: At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa King of Judah and said to him: “Because you relied on the King of Aram and not on the Lord your God, the army of the King of Aram has escaped from your hand. Were not the Cushites and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of Chariots and horsemen? Yet when you relied on the Lord, he delivered them into your hand. For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

Equation: (Relying on the Lord) with (A committed heart) =God given strength

Oftentimes we rely on our own strength or the strength of others to help us in our time of need. Relying on God becomes an afterthought, instead of our prelude. If you really want to experience genuine change in your life, your heart must stay committed to God.

If you need change in your spouse, commit your ways to the Lord! If you need change in your kids, commit your ways to the Lord!

Whatever change you need, commit your ways to the Lord and he shall strengthen you.

Today’s scriptures speak, “The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” God is searching for people to strengthen, he wants to strengthen you, and he wants to give you a part of himself!

To receive that strength, you have to be ready. When God is gazing over the earth, your heart should stand out as being fully committed to him!

My Prayer for you:

Dear God, we pray that as you gaze over your beautiful creation, you will find us fully committed to serving you and building your Kingdom. Lord you said you shall supply all of our needs according to your riches in Glory. Father, your Glory is never-ending and never-failing. We believe you at your Word and receive your blessings. Lord, with a humble and committed heart, we say thank you and we love you!
