What’s on your mind?

Proverbs 18:7 The Message (MSG)  7 Fools are undone by their big mouths; their souls are crushed by their words.

What’s on your mind?

Better yet what words are lying in wait on the tip of your tongue?

Could it be that you speak words of death instead of encouragement? Maybe it’s the negative vibe that you give off to others because of judgemental comments or preconceived notions.

Today’s scripture enlightens us to the fact that our souls are crushed by our words…in other words, when we began reciting words that are condemning and hurtful, it is a sure sign that our thinking (soul) and the way that we process information, is out of line.

God has promised that HIS word will not come back void. That means HE cannot lie, will not lie and will not be made out to be a lie. Whatever ministry or testimony that he is working out in someone’s live, will be completed by Him, according to HIS will.

Another thought to consider: that thing that you have been hoping and praying for, believing in God for the end result but…….it just won’t seem to come to pass. Consider the words that you are speaking in regards to the situation. Reflect on your thoughts and you can pretty much figure out why it has not manifested.

I invite you to pray with me this morning for a clear mind, positive thinking and encouraging words: Dear Father, we come before you this morning, thanking you for another day to witness your glory. Thank you for raising us in good health and in our right mind. Lord, on this day we pray that the words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart is acceptable to you. Lord we speak your words today, in hopes that others will bear witness to your beauty through us. Father search us high and low and remove anything that will keep us from professing your goodness today. We love you and thank you in Jesus Name! Amen!

Make Him Great In This Place,

Mrs. Misenheimer
