Tip #3 Don’t Be Afraid to Dream Big

Welcome to day three of our #loveme2Peace Campaign. I hope that you are finding these tips helpful and easy to incorporate into your daily thought process. I am a firm believer that having a focused and organized state of mind is the beginning of creating peace and being empowered. Finding peace is a process. You have to be focused and intentional, determined and motivated to make it happen. Even after you incorporate all of those things, you have to go a step further and trust God. Things will never appear to be perfect but if you trust the process, it will eventually work out for you. My tip for you today is:

“Don’t be afraid to dream big”

Before leaving Corporate America, I was often asked to create presentations and manuals because my peers loved how I incorporated color into a mundane, ho-hum training guide. They often praised my work and would ask, how do you bring such boring material to life? My reply, “I dream in color.”

I love to think big and creatively solve problems.

It’s much like this in our everyday dealings. Oftentimes we think extremely small and ask God to work a miracle on the simple things that we have the power and ability to do on our own. He’s already Qualified us to handle certain situations, and he wants us to depend on him for those supernatural blessings. I’ve come to realize that the bigger I dream, the bigger that God will show up in my life.

In Isaiah 55:8-9, the Lord declares, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Do yourself a huge favor and allow the thoughts and ways of God to work on your behalf. All it takes is the ability to dream bigger and the determinate to trust that God cannot fail.

Trust is a huge part of self-love and self-care. If we want to benefit from all the amazing things that God has in store for us, we gotta dream big!

My prayer for you Peace Seeker is that you gain the confidence to dream big!
